Every veteran has a story. Most never told it.
A lot of men came home from WWII, Korea and Vietnam and simply didn't talk about it. Their families were left with a folded discharge paper, a few photos, a medal in a drawer, and questions nobody could answer.
Service Story Books exists to answer them. We are a small, independent research service. We read the official histories, the unit records, the maps and the archive photographs, and we turn them into a book your family can hold: where his unit went, what it faced, and what his days looked like.
What we promise
- Honesty first. We never invent details about him. When the records can't confirm something, we say so.
- Every photo labeled. You'll always know whether a photo shows his unit or the same battle, place and date.
- Sources included. Every book lists where its facts came from, so you can follow the trail yourself.
- Respect. These are real men and real sacrifices. We tell their stories with care.
We are not affiliated with the U.S. military or the National Archives.
